Liverpool needed all three points against familiar foes Chelsea, with manager Jurgen Klopp telling reporters that his players will not be affected by the unfortunate meeting between the two sides five years ago.

The Reds were in dreamland just two minutes later as Salah scored a goal-of-the-season contender from 25 yards out. The Egyptian unleashed a powerful drive that smashed in to the back of the net, much to the delight of a raucous Anfield crowd.
Klopp's side held on to earn all three points, answering any questions about their mentality after City had put all the pressure on them ahead of the game.
