Liverpool vs Rangers Confirmed Lineups

12th October 2022

Liverpool has made six changes to their Starting XI from the last match. Darwin Núñez and Fabio Carvalho are paired up top. Joe Gomez replaces the injured Trent Alexander-Arnold on the backline. Ibrahima Konate fills in for the injured Joel Matip. The Rangers are desperate for points in play, but they are using the same Starting XI they put on the pitch for the teams' first meeting at Anfield. Antonio-Mirko Čolak is a dangerous customer up top and with two replacements in the back for the Reds, he could prove to be a menace for 90 minutes.

LFC Globe Verdict

Necessity is the mother of invention Jürgen Klopp was forced to make changes in the back and made some tactical moves pairing different players up front. Liverpool's defenders have struggled for large portions of the season. They will be tested against a Rangers side still looking to pick up their first points in Champions League play. The Reds will look to gain control of the match early. If the result is in doubt, Klopp can always bring Mohamed Salah off the bench as a super sub
