Lask play in the top division of Austrian football while Union SG is a storied club in Belgium recently promoted back to their first division, after 48 years. French first-division side Toulouse round out the group.

LFC Globe Verdict

Since Liverpool have never played any of the other 3 clubs in this group before, there is an element of uncertainty heading into this competition. Even so, with their current form, I expect Liverpool to the group rather easily. Since these group games are interwoven in the Premier League schedule, don't be surprised to see young players such as Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott, and Stefan Bajcetic getting heavy minutes.
