There is no rest for the weary as the EPL has released the tentative dates and fixtures for Liverpool's title defence in the 2025-26 season. There are 38 Premier League games on the provisional schedule, excluding the Community Shield match. They include 33 weekend matches and 5 matches that fall on weekdays.
The EPL season kicks off on Saturday, August 16th and concludes with simultaneous kickoffs on Sunday, May 26th. Liverpool will face newly promoted teams Leeds, Burnley and Sunderland at some point during the campaign. A full computer-generated schedule will be released at a later date, but the Reds do open the preseason on July 26th against AC Milan in Japan.
