Fulham vs Liverpool highlights - Liverpool earned a valuable three points to go to the top of the Premier League table.
Fulham 1-2 Liverpool
‣ 0-1: Sadio Mane (26')
‣ 1-1: Ryan Babel (74')
‣ 1-2: James Milner (81')
Liverpool earned three points in dramatic fashion after James Milner's penalty in the final ten minutes handed Liverpool victory.
Sadio Mane had given Liverpool the lead in the opening half-hour as he confidently slotted home from Roberto Firmino's reverse pass in to the box.
The Reds were pinned back in the second-half by former player Ryan Babel after he capitalised on Virgil van Dijk and Alisson's mix-up.
Van Dijk attempted to head substitute James Milner's wayward clearance back to goalkeeper Alisson, however Babel intercepted after the ball bounced off the Brazilian.
It appeared to be a huge blow for Jurgen Klopp's title challenge, however they had the opportunity to take the lead again just six minutes later.
Mohamed Salah's tame effort was spilled by Fulham goalkeeper Sergio Rico, who went on to pull the oncoming Mane down to the ground, resulting in referee Craig Pawson pointing to the penalty spot.
Substitute James Milner stepped up and confidently finished down the middle to hand the Reds a 2-1 win and send them to the top of the Premier League over the March international break.
Liverpool hold a two point lead over reigning champions Manchester City, although Pep Guardiola's side have a game in hand against Manchester United.
It caps off a fantastic week for Liverpool, who progressed to the quarter-finals of the Champions League with a 3-1 win over Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
