Liverpool did not wait long to bolster their roster after winning the Premier League title. The Reds signed from Byran Leverkusen.

“It went quite easy,” Frimpong said. “Liverpool came and said they had interest, and obviously for me it was a no-brainer. “For me, it was like, ‘Whatever you guys do, just get this done', [speaking to] my agents: ‘Just get this done. Liverpool fans, I'm going to give my all, my energy, my work-rate, and hopefully we can together, we celebrate together, get everything together. I'm just excited to be here. Thank you guys for accepting me, and I won't let you guys down, and I'll give you the energy that you guys want.”

In 190 career appearances with Leverkusen, the midfielder scored 30 goals in all competitions. Before that, Frimpong played for Celtic, where he scored 3 goals in 51 appearances. Fimpong has also scored a goal for the Dutch National team, where he plays with Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk. Full details of the contract will be announced at a later date.

LFC Globe Verdict

I like this . While not an exact replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold, Frimpong is a talented winger who can cause chaos by either scoring or providing assists. I also expect the Reds to sign more players in the coming days as they prepare to defend their title in the upcoming season.
