However, the visit of Bournemouth to Anfield is the perfect opportunity for the Liverpool squad to answer their critics.
The Reds will be looking to regain first place in above Manchester City in the table, who sit pip Jurgen Klopp's side on goal difference, having played a game more.

The Reds boss has been dealing with numerous knocks to his squad in recent weeks, however he is set to welcome back three of his key stars.
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jordan Henderson, Gini Wijnaldum are all in contention to start, which will be a big boost to the manager.
Dejan Lovren and Joe Gomez continue to be sidelined due to injury, with Klopp providing a longer prognosis on the duo's fitness at his press conference.
The boss could continue with James Milner at right-back, having revealed Alexander-Arnold has had just one training session with the side since his return.
Should Henderson and Wijnaldum both be fit, they are expected to make their way straight back in the side - possibly alongside Fabinho, who has become increasingly important for the Reds in recent weeks.
One of Xherdan Shaqiri or Naby Keita could also make their way in to the side, should Klopp wish to add a further attacking option in his midfield.
