For the second time this season, Liverpool will enjoy the bright lights of Monday night at 8 PM BST(3 PM EST in the United States) to wrap up EPL action in week 3. And with good reason. All eyes will be on Old Trafford tonight as the Reds face rivals Manchester United in a monumental early-season clash. The match pits a Red Devils side desperate to move off the bottom of the table vs. a Liverpool side equally as determined to keep them there.
Jürgen Klopp had to shuffle his lineup due to Darwin Núñez serving the first of a three-match suspension and injuries to 9 players within the first-team squad. As a result, there are three changes to the Reds' Starting XI over the last match vs. Crystal Palace.
Liverpool
Starters: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson, Harvey Elliott, Jordan Henderson, James Milner; Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Luis Diaz
Subs: Adrian, Davies, Fabinho, Tsimikas, Carvalho, Clark, Bajcetic, Phillips, Van den Berg.
Manchester United

Subs: Heaton, Maguire, Ronaldo, Martial, Fred, Shaw, Wan-Bissaka, Van de Beek, Garnacho.
LFC Globe Verdict
Manchester United made a couple of shocking decisions in the Starting XI to shake up the locker room.. Ronaldo, Fred, and captain Harry McGwire are on the bench to try to jumpstart their campaign. The only surprise for Liverpool is that Fabinho is not in the starting lineup.
Pairing Roberto Firmino up front with Luis Diaz is compelling and I think the duo will create plenty of scoring chances.
