After running out as 7-0 winners over Crystal Palace in their last outing, Jurgen Klopp's side have enjoyed a rarity in their otherwise crowded fixture schedule.
The Reds have had a week's break to recuperate ahead of another gruelling stretch in the campaign, with West Brom providing the first challenge of four in the next nine days.

The visitors parted ways with Slaven Bilic after a poor start to the campaign, with new boss Sam Allardyce presiding over a 3-0 defeat to Aston Villa in his first game in charge last weekend.
Despite the Baggies losing nine of their first 14 Premier League games this season, Allardyce's teams rarely go down without a fight, and the Reds will need to be wary of complacency heading into the tie.
But Liverpool remain favourites to come out on top and establish a five-point lead over the rest of the pack at the summit of the Premier League table - whilst finishing the year off at Anfield with their league unbeaten run intact.

Liverpool finally appear to be getting a respite on the injury front, despite longer-term injuries to the likes of Diogo Jota, Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk.
Thiago has returned to first-team training alongside James Milner and Xherdan Shaqiri, but - according to Klopp - he will not be rushed back into action, with Sunday's fixture coming too soon for the Spaniard.
Mohamed Salah and Curtis Jones should return to the side, although Naby Keita could feel hard done by after an impressive showing at Selhurst Park. Milner and Shaqiri are likely to be on the bench.
