After a tough loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League, a Premier League date with the Eagles of Crystal Palace may be just what the doctor ordered as Liverpool is looking to win their 3rd EPL game in a row.

A Home Away From Home

Even though Liverpool have struggled away from Anfield in the past, the Reds have made themselves quite comfortable on Palace's grounds in the past. In fact, Liverpool's 7-0 win at Selhurst Park in 2020 marks the biggest margin in an EPL victory in club history. Liverpool have also won 7 matches in a row against the Eagles away from Anfield which marks the longest such streak of that kind since winning 8 in a row at West Brom from 1983-2009.

Failure To Fly

The Eagles have not exactly taken wing this season. They sit 12th on the table with 26 points and are winless in the last 5 matches (1 loss, 4 draws). Palace averages just under a goal per match and are -10 in goal difference. Their main threat is the striker and Ivory Coast International Wilfred Zaha. Zaha has only netted 6 goals on the year, but can be a dangerous customer if given any space.

Reds Ready To Move On

Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino are also in contention for inclusion in the Starting XI after coming on as substitutes vs. Real Madrid.
