Fasika -

Liverpool thrashed Toulouse 5-1 as they made it three wins out of three in the .

It was an overwhelming first half for Liverpool who were 3-1 up after goals from , Wataru Endõ and . The second half only got better as they continued to push the pace against the Ligue 1 side as they established their dominance in their group and the competition.

First Half

It was a fast start to the game for Liverpool who wanted to show that they mean business which they did in the eighth minute thanks to Diogo Jota.

won the ball back in Toulouse's half which found its way to the Portuguese forward whose mazy run past a whole host of Toulouse players earned him a one-on-one with the goalkeeper which he dispatched with ease.

Liverpool fans weren't smiling for long as their defence was caught out by Aron Donnum's pass which found Thijs Dallinga as he ran uncontested into Liverpool's box before finishing past to equalise for the Ligue 1 side.

The side lost some confidence after the equaliser as they struggled to mount any attacks of mention. However, a well-worked corner found near the edge of the box as his cross connected with Wataru Endõ's header putting Liverpool in front with his first goal for the club.

Liverpool fans only had to wait four more minutes to cheer again as a sumptuous run and pass from found on the edge of the box but his shot was blocked but fell to the feet of Darwin Núñez who destroyed the net with a left-footed strike.

It was almost a horror start for the second half for 's men after Caoimhin Kelleher's misplaced pass in his own box found Gabriel Souza who faced off against Alexander-Arnold as his shot was cleared off the line by the England player.

Liverpool continued to press for a fourth goal in the second half but couldn't find that final pass. The pressing that has become so famous under Klopp was put to good use as Diogo Jota won the ball back before setting Núñez off as he skilfully got past one defender as well as the goalkeeper as he had an open goal to shoot at but somehow missed and hit the post before Ryan Gravenberch got a hold of the ball and finished it off.

The Uruguayan looked horrified at his miss but was certainly thankful that the Dutchman scored. and were brought on with 20 minutes to go as in obvious Salah tradition, the Egyptian netted in stoppage time with a clinical right-foot strike in a dominant 5-1 for the home side.

Ryan Gravenberch is my man of the match as he continues to baffle fans on why Bayern Munich let him go for just £35million.

A dominant performance from midfield, the Dutchman showcased his dribbling ability, his range of passing and a continuing eye for goal as he's now scored two goals in three Europa League games.

Liverpool are high in confidence and will be looking to make it three wins in a row in all competitions when they take on Nottingham Forest at Anfield on Sunday, October 29 at 14:00 (UK time).
