: 1:3 Liverpool - Liverpool come from behind to go top of the table

Liverpool ran out 3-1 winners as they came back from behind to defeat Wolves as they go top of the table.

The side had an abysmal start to the game as they went 1-0 down in just the seventh minute after Hwang Hee-chan netted past .

It was an incredible play by Wolves' Pedro Neto who went past and Joel Matip with ease before playing a pass across the box that found the South Korean before dispatching the strike with ease.

Liverpool have been known to start games slowly and they continued that trend at the Molineux.

The midfield found it difficult to cope with Wolves' pace and physicality and they soon found themselves 1-0 down due to Hwang Hee-chan's seventh-minute strike.

The rest of the first half was a disappointing showing from the away side who barely mustered up a chance with Wolves' goalkeeper, Jose Sa, untested for 45 minutes.

Despite that, they struggled to find a goal to put them ahead and while the game looked to be heading towards a , Mohamed Salah once again spotted the run of his team-mate, , before the Scotsman slotted through to score past Jose Sa.

With just minutes to go until the final whistle, Salah was on the edge of the box with multiple options as he decided to lay it off for Elliot whose strike deflected off Hugo Bueno before hitting the post and going in to make it a final score of 3-1 to Liverpool.

LFC Globe Verdict

Once again Liverpool have shown their resolve by coming from behind to a game.

While it wasn't their best performance this season, it shows that their mentality seems to have returned as they head to the top of the Premier League with their fourth win in a row.

Man Of The Match And What's Next?

There's no doubt that the man of the match should be Mohamed Salah.

While he had a quiet first half, he came alive in the second half and created all three goals, demonstrating just how important he is to this Liverpool team whether he's scoring goals or creating them.

While Liverpool's next game is on Thursday away to at 17:35 (UK time) in the , their next league fixture is next Sunday as they return to to take on West Ham at 14:00 (UK time).
