Following Saturday's draw against Chelsea in the Premier League, attention shifts back to Liverpool's European campaign on Wednesday night.
The Reds will be looking to secure an important away win in Naples after their dramatic late victory against Paris Saint-Germain at Anfield a fortnight ago.
With Napoli and Red Star Belgrade playing out a 0-0 draw in Serbia on match day 1, Jurgen Klopp's side hold an advantage, sitting at the top of Group C.
Napoli are no pushovers, however, with new manager Carlo Ancelotti guiding the Italian side to second in the Serie A table, behind champions Juventus.
The Reds have a poor record against Ancelotti's sides, losing 3 and drawing 1 out of four previous games. However, the one draw was that final in Istanbul in 2005, when the Reds came back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 before winning on penalties to lift their fifth European title.
It will be interesting to see what changes Klopp makes, with Man City's visit of Anfield to come on Sunday. Whatever team is selected, the manager will be hoping he can secure another crucial three points as the Reds look to emulate their European run from last season.
Team News
Adam Lallana, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Rhian Brewster are the only players to be sidelined, whilst Dejan Lovren and Divock Origi are both available and included in the travelling squad.
With Man City in mind, Klopp suggested he could make "one or two changes – maybe more" to his line-up, however insisted he will take no risks and choose a side to to get the job done in Naples.
The Reds' defence is expected to remain the same. Alisson will start between the sticks, whilst Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson should make up the rest of the back-line.
In midfield, Fabinho will be hoping to make his first European start for the Reds, however Naby Keita is more likely to do so after impressive cameo appearances.
Daniel Sturridge and Xherdan Shaqiri - both who have impressed in recent weeks - could start for the Reds, should Klopp decide to rest some of his stars ahead of Sunday.
However, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are all expected to start from the off as they look to re-kindle their dangerous partnership from last season.
