Erik ten Hag's side took a huge step to progressing to the Champions League final after a first-half goal from Donny van de Beek gave them a 1-0 win in north London on Tuesday.
Ajax, who had the weekend off, looked in total control from the off and were rewarded with an away goal just 15 minutes in after van de Beek slotted home from Hakim Ziyech's through-ball.
Spurs looked a much better side in the second-half but Mauricio Pochettino's side were unable to grab an equaliser without the services of Harry Kane and the suspended Heung-Min Son.

Should Ajax avoid defeat at home in the second-leg, they will set up a mouth-watering final in Madrid against either Liverpool or Barcelona, with the first-leg of that semi-final tie taking place at the Camp Nou on Wednesday night.
