I mean, you can't go wrong with either choice. Mohamed Salah and Luis Suárez are among the greatest players to ever play for Liverpool.
While their time at the club was hugely different in terms of time spent at Anfield and the amount of honours, they both left fans on the edge of their seats and simply speechless by the many special moments they produced on the pitch.
Suárez spent three and half years in Liverpool but remains among one of the greatest talents to play at the club while Salah is currently in his seventh season on Merseyside as he continues to break records.
Salah is undoubtedly the bigger legend at the club but that's not the question… the question is who would you rather have in their prime between Mohamed Salah and Luis Suárez?
Mohamed Salah Is LFC's Greatest Player
Since signing for the club in 2017, Mohamed Salah has written a legacy that few can match up with. 200 goals and almost 90 assists later, the Egyptian king has become the stand-out player for Liverpool in the Premier League duty.
However, some may argue his status goes beyond the Premier League era and in the club's history. Unlike some players, Salah's output has contributed to the biggest trophies including the Premier League and Champions League.
At 31-years-old, he remains at the top of his game and is the talisman for Liverpool seven years on from his arrival in Liverpool. While Luis Suárez may have been more aesthetically pleasing for fans, Salah turned up in the big moments and led the club to silverware that was never won during the Luis Suárez era.
Luis Suárez was a unique specimen
Yes, Súarez was only at the club for three-and-a-half years and yes he didn't win any trophies during his time but my god, he was absolutely extraordinary.
While his first six months at the club left a lot to be desired, the Uruguyuan quickly settled into his environment and became Liverpool's best player in just a year.
He scored 23 Premier League goals in his second full season and 31 the season after alongside 17 assists in what many believe is the greatest individual Premier League campaign of all time.
Almost single-handedly leading Liverpool to the title, Suárez would have no doubt etched himself in Liverpool folklore had the team lifted the domestic trophy but failed in the last three games after falling to Chelsea 2-0 at Anfield.
His excellence in such a short period of time remains a special time for Liverpool fans which demonstrates just how marvellous he was to watch.
LFC Verdict
While Mohamed Salah has contributed to Liverpool's greatest successes since the 1980s, I still haven't seen a talent like Luis Súarez in a Liverpool shirt and I would prefer him over the Egyptian in their prime.
