Jurgen Klopp's side face Arsenal at the Emirates, with the Reds four points ahead of the home side going into the fixture.

The Reds have won their last three games with victories coming against Huddersfield, Red Star Belgrade and Cardiff City.

However, a meeting away at Arsenal is a different proposition, with Emery seemingly transforming the Gunners after arriving in the summer from PSG.

The Spaniard endured a difficult start to the campaign but has turned things around. Arsenal's 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace was the first time in 12 games where they did not claim all three points.

On a weekend where rivals Chelsea and Manchester City have home ties against lowly opposition, neither side will want to lose ground on their biggest competition.

For Liverpool, victory will mean going to the top of the Premier League table, atleast until Man City play Southampton on Sunday.

Liverpool are without both Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita, the duo having struggled with hamstring injuries in recent weeks.

Mohamed Salah was confirmed to be fit by the boss in his pre-match press conference, despite being pictured with strapping on his wrist in training this week.

Fabinho should therefore start in midfield, with Gini Wijnaldum and James Milner likely to partner the Brazilian for his third consecutive start.

Klopp could also opt to keep Dejan Lovren at centre-back - as he has done in the last three Premier League games - meaning Joe Gomez could move to right-back.

Arsenal are facing somewhat of a defensive injury crisis, with Laurent Koscielny, Dinos Mavropanos, Mohamed Elneny all ruled out and Matteo Guendouzi suspended.

Hector Bellerin, Saed Kolasinac and Nacho Monreal are all doubts but will be assessed ahead of the game, meaning Granit Xhaka could continue at left-back.
