Liverpool has made 2 changes in their Starting XI ahead of the Merseyside Derby. Fabinho makes his 200th appearance for the Reds while  Roberto Firmino, Diogo Jota, and Virgil van Dijk return to the bench after varying stints on the injury list.

For Everton, they made no changes from their win vs Arsenal last week.

LFC Globe Verdict

This is a pretty solid Starting IX for Liverpool and it is of course good to see players return from injury. While it remains to be seen whether they will see time on the pitch, it is always good to have depth. 

Reds defenders will have to be alert to set pieces today as Everton is adept at scoring from them, especially corners. Liverpool should enjoy the majority of possession. Let's just hope it produces goals.
