Jurgen Klopp has suggested Liverpool still have some business to do during the transfer window.
The German manager was questioned about potential transfer activity in the final few days of the window, which shuts at 5pm on Thursday, following a 5-0 victory over Napoli in Dublin.
"We will see what happens," Klopp said on the subject of any potential last minute deals.
Liverpool impressed during Saturday's victory in Dublin, however two players who were not involved were Divock Origi and Danny Ings. Klopp confirmed the possibility of players leaving before Thursday's deadline.
"Yes," Klopp directly stated when quizzed on whether he expected business in or out of the club, before elaborating.
“I cannot kill your D-day [Sky Sports Deadline Day] show, people sit there in front of the television all day waiting.
“If any player from my team is available, then in every other situation in my life as a manager I would have bought all of them, to be honest.
“They are all fantastic boys, they are able to play fantastic football.
“In this moment, the squad would be too big, that's true.
“But it's not that that means for us that we give them for free or something like that, Liverpool is strong enough to keep all these players and then we deal with that. We are not there to make other teams stronger, that's not our job.”
Danny Ward, Emre Can, Jon Flanagan, Jordan Williams, Adam Bogdan (loan) and Ben Woodburn (loan) have departed Liverpool, so far.
Meanwhile, Alisson Becker, Naby Keita, Fabinho and Xherdan Shaqiri have all arrived at Anfield this summer.
A move for Nabil Fekir failed ahead of the World Cup after talks broke down between the two clubs, despite Liverpool agreeing personal terms and Fekir conducting an interview in a Reds shirt.
Liverpool and Lyon had been in talks since the conclusion of the World Cup, however the two parties failed to reach a compromise on new terms.
It's much more likely that the Reds are now done with their incoming transfers, focusing on trimming their squad - barring any late changes in their pursuit of Fekir.
Klopp's side have one final pre-season fixture against Torino at Anfield on Tuesday, before lining up for their Premier League opener against West Ham at home.
