Trent Alexander-Arnold has become involved in a controversy on Twitter after his alleged messages were revealed.
The 20-year-old has been accused of sending crude messages to a pregnant lady.
The lady, whose name is being protected, had contacted the defender to ask about sending a Fathers' Day message to her partner, who was a big fan of the youngster.
Alexander-Arnold's alleged messages sent in May of this year were received with shock on Twitter, with his name going ‘trending' on the social networking site.
She posted screenshots and images of the messages (below) that she claims were sent to her on Snapchat by Alexander-Arnold whilst he was at this summer's World Cup.
She added an image of a man's face which looked like Alexander-Arnold, as well as screenshots showing the location of the messages being sent from England's camp hotel in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
She did not want to reveal the messages but was irked to see Alexander-Arnold up as a role model at the Pride Of Britain Awards and felt like it needed to be known.
It must be noted that the tweets are just allegations and there is no indication whether the claims are true or false.
Neither Liverpool Football Club or Alexander-Arnold have responded at this time. However we understand the police are dealing with the matter directly with the club.
