Liverpool face Napoli at the Stadio San Paolo in Naples on Wednesday night for their second Champions League group C tie.
The Reds have no fresh injury concerns, with only Adam Lallana, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Rhian Brewster sidelined with injuries ahead of the fixture.
A 23-man squad travelled to Naples on Tuesday and Jurgen Klopp suggested the Reds could make a few changes to the side with this weekend's fixture against Manchester City in mind.
However, the manager insisted he would select a team to do the job in Naples: “It's really difficult to think about anything other than the next game – we only think about the next game, but not the next game after the next game! It is always like this.
“We will see, maybe we will make one or two changes or whatever – maybe more – but it's all about this game. It's the only way I understand it. We will think about this game and then we will see who we can use for City.”
Dejan Lovren and Divock Origi were both included in the travelling squad, whilst Klopp confirmed Virgil van Dijk is 'fine' having come unscathed through Saturday's Premier League clash at Chelsea.
“We had all the usual knocks, but everything is fine – and nothing more – so that's good. We have 23 players with us to make sure nothing happens,” he said.
“Virgil is fine. Divock has been back in full training. He is in outstandingly good shape, so that's good news.
“But it's quite difficult [competition] within the squad at the moment.”
Alisson will no doubt start between the sticks on his first return to Italy after a summer move from Roma, whilst the Reds' defence should stay the same as it has done for the majority of this season.
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, van Dijk and Andy Robertson should line-up in front of the Brazilian, however it is in midfield where Klopp is likely to make a change or two.
Naby Keita has been pushing for a start, whilst Fabinho could be a surprise inclusion with the pace of the game likely to be slower than any in the Premier League.
However, it is unlikely that Klopp changes too much with Napoli a tricky side to come up against, especially at home where they have a 100% record this season.
Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mané are expected to start in attack, however Daniel Sturridge will be hoping to retain his place from match day one against Paris Saint-Germain, following two goals against Chelsea in the last week.
Xherdan Shaqiri will also be in contention should Klopp choose to rest any of his key stars after impressing in his cameo against the Blues on Saturday.
Predicted line-up: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Keita, Salah, Firmino, Mané.
