The Liverpool squad stepped up with their preparations for this weekend's visit of Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.

The Reds take on Mauricio Pochettino's side on Sunday as they resume their Premier League title race following the international break.

Those who did not go away on international duty such as Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Naby Keita and Adam Lallana were all involved in training at Melwood on Tuesday.

Rhian Brewster was also involved as he continues his rehabilitation and looks to make his senior debut ahead of the end of the season.

He is not in contention against Spurs, likewise Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who only returns to full training next week.

Several youngsters were present in training, including Ben Woodburn, who scored a last minute winner for Wales against Trinidad and Tobago last week.

The likes of Alisson, Fabinho, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Virgil van Dijk and Gini Wijnaldum are still away but are expected back in light training on Wednesday.

With Manchester City facing Fulham on Saturday, the onus is likely to be on Jurgen Klopp's side to earn all three points on Sunday and send themselves back to the top of the league, albeit with a game in hand.
