Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino is set to start against Bayern Munich, despite him missing training on Monday.
The Liverpool squad took part in training at Melwood as they finalised their preparations for the visit of Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Dejan Lovren is a major doubt for the fixture after being absent from training due to a hamstring issue, and he was joined on the sidelines by Firmino.
The Brazilian is believed to have a virus and trained away from the rest of the squad as a precaution to stop his illness from spreading.
Whilst there are worries that he won't recover in time, the club remain confident that he will feature against Niko Kovac's side.
According to the Mirror's David Maddock, Firmino should play a part despite his illness, as Gini Wijnaldum and James Milner did against Bournemouth last time around.
Firmino's availability will be a big boost for Jurgen Klopp, who is without the injured Joe Gomez and suspended Virgil van Dijk in midweek.
Whilst Van Dijk will return against Manchester United at the weekend, Fabinho is expected to partner Joel Matip at centre-back.
Jordan Henderson is likely to partner Wijnaldum and Naby Keita in midfield, whilst Milner could be another option should Klopp opt for added experience.
Liverpool vs Bayern kicks off at 8pm on Tuesday night and you can keep up with all the drama via LFC Globe's live match-day coverage.
