All the best photos as Liverpool beat Flamengo 1-0 in the Club World Cup final, earning their first-ever triumph in the competition.

It was fourth-time lucky for Liverpool as they added a maiden Club World Cup to their honours list by beating Flamengo 1-0 after extra time on Saturday evening.

Liverpool had the upper hand for much of the game but failed to take their chances as Flamengo played their way into the game and showed glimpses of their own quality.

The Reds threatened a breakthrough in the closing stages and saw an injury-time penalty decision for a foul on Sadio Mane reversed by a combination of the referee and VAR.

Liverpool continued to push for an opener in extra-time and it was Wednesday night's hero who delivered yet again as Roberto Firmino kept his cool and sent the ball into the back of the net after good work in the build-up from Jordan Henderson and Sadio Mane.

Despite a few nervy moments, the reigning European champions held on for victory and established themselves as the most feared side in world football.
