Liverpool are back in action just four days after their first Premier League defeat of the season to Manchester City on Thursday.
Attention turns to tonight's FA Cup fixture against Wolves, with the Reds looking to progress to the fourth round for the eight consecutive season.
However, the Reds will need to navigate a tricky away tie against Nuno Espirito Santo's side, arguably the most testing fixture of the round, with Jurgen Klopp much preferring to face a lower league side.
The Reds face Wolves for the second time in a month, with a 2-0 win over the West Midlands club in December seeing Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah score for the Reds.
With an eye on the title race, Klopp is expected to make a number of changes to his lineup from the defeat to Man City and it will be intriguing to see how the Reds deal with heavy rotation.
The hope will be that Liverpool come out unscathed and remain in the hunt for silverware on three fronts rather than starting the year with a second consecutive loss.
Team News
Joe Gomez and Joel Matip continue to be sidelined after enduring injuries at the start of December, although they should return to training in the next week.
Jurgen Klopp hinted during his pre-match press conference that he will heavily rotate his side, with Simon Mignolet and Alberto Moreno already confirmed starters.
The duo's inclusion means Alisson and Andy Robertson will be given a well-deserved break, although Dejan Lovren and Virgil van Dijk could continue at the heart of defence due to limited options at centre-back.
Trent Alexander-Arnold could be replaced by youngster Rafa Camacho, whilst 16-year-old starlet Ki-Jana Hoever is another bold option for Klopp.
In midfield, one of James Milner, Jordan Henderson and Fabinho could pair up with Naby Keita and Adam Lallana, although Klopp could opt to rest all his first-choice options.
Xherdan Shaqiri is expected to start and come in to a changed attacking three, although the Swiss international's versatility could see him being in his usual midfield role.
