Naby Keita scored the opening goal in Guinea's 3-2 win over Ethiopia in the African Cup of Nations qualifying. 

In Euro 2024 qualifying, Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson provided an assist in the Three Lions' 2-0 victory over Ukraine while Diogo Jota came on as a substitute for Portugal in their 6-0 thrashing of Luxembourg.

Ibrahima Konaté drew the start for France in their 1-0 win over Caoimhin Kelleher's Republic of Ireland squad, but the keeper did not see any time on the pitch. Virgil van Dijk captained and played the full 90 minutes in the Netherlands' 3-0 win over Gibraltar while Cody Gakpo was an unused substitute. Kostas Tismikas came on as a substitute in Greece's scoreless draw with Lithuania.
