Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino will be given a rest as Jurgen Klopp rings the changes against Midtjylland on Tuesday night.
That is according to a leaked lineup doing the rounds on social media, which includes four changes for Liverpool.
The defence remains the same, with Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Joe Gomez and Andy Robertson lining up in the Reds back-line.
Jordan Henderson is the sole midfielder to retain his place from the weekend as he is joined by James Milner in the middle of the park. Xherdan Shaqiri gets a rare start alongside the duo.
Liverpool's trusted attacking trio are given a rest with a view to Saturday's clash against West Ham, although they are likely to be on the substitutes bench rather than given a night off in entirety.
Diogo Jota earns a second consecutive start following his winner against Sheffield United. Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino partner the Portuguese in attack.
It would certainly be out of character for Klopp to rest his attacking troika in the Champions League, but there are several factors which facilitate the need to do so.
With the Reds currently in the midst of seven games in 22 days, keeping the likes of Firmino, Mane and Firmino as fresh as possible is crucial - with no better chance than tonight to allow them some rest.
The additions of Minamino and Jota this year allow Klopp the option to rest his attacking three much more this season. While the resurgence of Shaqiri provides another added dimension to the squad.
