Liverpool's EPL match with Chelsea, originally scheduled for 16:30 BST on September 18th has been postponed due to National preparations for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth's funeral services on Monday, September 19th. Other EPL matches scheduled for September 17th will take place, but the clubs will have special tributes before their matches.
Liverpool is also planning special tributes before their Champions League match with Ajax. A wreath has been placed at the Centenary Stand, which Queen Elizabeth presided over the opening of in 1993. In addition, players will wear black armbands and everyone will observe a moment of silence before the match.
No makeup date has been announced for the Chelsea fixture or the match with Wolverhampton, originally set for September 10th. LFC Globe will provide schedule updates when they become available.
