If it ain't broke don't fix it. Jürgen Klopp took that adage to heart as his lineup as his Starting XI vs Newcastle United is unchanged from the 9-0 win vs Bournemouth There is good news on the injury front as Joel Matip and Curtis Jones return to the bench and are available to come on during a substitution window.
Klopp says that the performance of the last match is the main reason behind the side being unchanged
“It was based on performance, obviously,” he said. “It's early in the season and we need to find a rhythm.”
As for the Magpies, top striker Callum Wilson is out due to injury, but Swedish star Alexander Isak has obtained his work visa and will get the start up front which should give Newcastle some needed punch up front.

LFC Globe Verdict
Why mess with a good thing? Klopp made the right decision by not changing his lineup from the last match. It's also good to see Matip and Jones available off the bench to provide much-needed depth. The Reds may have caught a break with Wilson being out for Newcastle, but new signee Alexander Isak remains a mystery regarding how he will perform. It will be interesting to see how this one plays out.
